Engineering Solutions for Healthcare

CEBE hosts modern, well-equipped Biomedical Engineering laboratories that support hands-on learning, research, innovation, and industry-based problem solving. These labs empower students, faculty, and professional partners through experimentation, prototyping, and applied biomedical technologies.

Each laboratory contributes to our mission of advancing applied engineering, strengthening medical device ecosystems, and supporting innovation-driven development in Rwanda and across the region.

A wide, naturally lit hall arranged for equipment demonstrations and maintenance practice, giving each group room to work on devices.

Instrumentation Lab

Reconfigurable benching for project-based learning, allowing teams to spread out prototypes, test rigs and documentation across a shared working surface.

Dedicated benches with portable test kits and secure storage, supporting calibration, fault diagnosis and hands-on assessment of clinical equipment.
