Overview
The Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and eHealth (CEBE), University of Rwanda, successfully hosted the Master of Science in Health Informatics Thesis Presentation on 7 July 2026 at UR-CEBE, Kigali Innovation City.
The presentation brought together students, thesis supervisors, and external examiners to evaluate the research work completed by twenty-five (25) master's students. The thesis presentations marked an important academic milestone for the candidates, who demonstrated their ability to conduct independent research aimed at improving healthcare.
Evaluation Process
Each presentation was evaluated by a panel of experienced academic staff and external examiners who assessed the originality, scientific contribution, methodology, quality of analysis, and practical relevance of the research.
The presentations demonstrated the growing research capacity within the Health Informatics Master's Programme — reflecting the Centre's commitment to developing professionals capable of leading digital transformation in healthcare across Rwanda and the African region.

Closing Remarks
The successful completion of the thesis presentations represents a significant achievement for the Master of Science in Health Informatics programme. The research presented contributes to advancing digital health, evidence-based healthcare, and innovation in health information systems, supporting Rwanda's vision for a technology-enabled healthcare sector.
