The University of Rwanda, through its Regional Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and eHealth (CEBE), has been designated as the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Family of International Classifications, reference RWA-1. The designation recognises the institution's capacity to work with WHO on developing, maintaining and applying the WHO Family of International Classifications and to support their implementation across Rwanda and the region .
