WHO-FIC NETWORK MEETS IN KIGALI TO ADVANCE GLOBAL CLASSIFICATION & TERMINOLOGIES TO IMPROVE HEALTH DATA.
The University of Rwanda is pleased to welcome global health experts gathered in Kigali for the WHO-FIC Network mid-year meetings. Hosted at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, the discussions focus on refining the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and enhancing coding of health interventions using the International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI).
Today, the Health Interventions Reference group met to discuss the required changes in the International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI). On the other hand, mortality reference group continued with their work around improving mortality coding. All work is aimed at strengthening global health data comparability and efficiency.
Kigali remains a hub for shaping the future of global health systems!
